According to the annual County Health Rankings and Roadmaps report, Chattooga County ranks 113th out of Georgia`s 159 counties.

The report comes up with its rankings by assessing the overall health of people by how healthy they are and how long they live. Factors in the report include; health behavior, clinical care, social and economic factors, and physical environment.

New to this year`s report includes how many fast food restaurants are in the county and the level of physical inactivity among its residents.  

The top 10 healthiest counties in Georgia are Fayette, Forsyth, Oconee, Cherokee, Gwinnett, Cobb, Columbia, Towns, Hall and Morgan.

The report was done by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
