Chattooga County’s 4H students were chosen as one of the top teams at the 2010 Georgia Yout Summit earlier this years.  Students presented a revitalization program that also included emphasis on hospitality called "Service with a Smile."

It was announced this week that Chattooga County’s 4 H students will receive a $250 grant provided by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.  The grant applications were evaluated by members of the Youth Summit Planning Community.

Chattooga County Cooperative Extension Agent Rebecca Thomas said "hopefully with some local support too, this program will be off to a great start."
