Three Chattooga County residents were busted in connection with the drug raid in Cherokee County on Wednesday by the Cherokee County Narcotics Unit, The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department, DEA Agents and Agents from the Lookout Mtn. Judicial Drug Task Force when they raided the home of Christopher Speers of Leesburg, AL.
Angela Lynn Speers, 40 of Lyerly, Georgia was charged with Manufacturing 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree and Trafficking; Kevin Edward Vaughn, age 32 of Lyerly, Georgia was charged with Manufacturing 1st Degree, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree, and Trafficking; Michael DeWayne King, age 40 of Summerville, Georgia was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
The original press release by the Cherokee County Alabama Narcotics Unity listed Vaughn and King as being from Floyd County. The three Chattooga County Residents are being held in the Cherokee County Jail in Centre.
