Flooding is expected to primarily affect woodlands and fields along the Chattooga River. Residents are advised to closely monitor river levels and avoid low-lying areas in the vicinity of the river. The weather forecast for today includes cloudy skies with a 50 percent chance of showers. Highs are expected in the lower 60s, dropping to the mid-50s in the afternoon. Northwest winds will be blowing at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy, then clearing, with lows around 40 degrees. A frost and freeze warning may be issues going into Wednesday, otherwise Wednesday is expected to be sunny with highs in the upper 60s and light east winds turning south. Thursday will be mostly sunny with a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon, with a 40 percent chance of rain and highs in the upper 60s.
