Position Vacancy Announcement
Technology Specialist Level I

Primary Function: Assist with technology maintenance.
Qualifications: Minimum of a High School diploma or GED. 1 year hardware and software
troubleshooting experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Good working knowledge of computer operating systems
• Ability to work on small tedious parts such as replacing screens, small screws
and cables.
• Know enough about systems software to determine if the malfunction is in the
hardware or in the software
• Ability to run diagnostic programs to locate malfunctions
• Practical problem-solving skills and solid trouble shooting skills is a must
• Ability to work well with other people in a team oriented environment
• Ability to install/deploy Windows & Chrome based computers
• Ability to understand/troubleshoot software
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
• Must possess hands-on experience in system installation, configuration and
maintenance
• Someone willing to learn and grow knowledge and experience

Beginning pay range: $16.46–$18.17 per hour based upon experience. This position works 240 days per school year and earns up to 10 vacation days per school year. Interviews will begin immediately and until vacancy filled.
