Chattooga County School Superintendent Jared Hosmer has released an update to the public on Monday concerning adjustments at Chattooga County Schools due to COVID-19. One of those adjustments is that students will not receive a 4 1/2 week progress report for the first 9 week grading term. Students will receive a report card at the end of 9 weeks. Hosmer is urging parents to contact their student’s teachers if you would like information regarding the progress your student is making. Next Monday is Labor Day. After that, students in the Chattooga County school system will switch to a four-day, in-class school week. Monday’s will be reserved for virtual learning. See Supt.
