
Chattooga County School Superintendent Jared Hosmer released the school system’s weekly COVID report on Friday. Hosmer noted that this report is actually for a two-week period due to the Thanksgiving Holiday week.
The report shows two active COVID cases at Chattooga High School; six cases at Leroy Massey Elementary School; two cases at Summerville Middle School and three cases at the County Office which also includes the Chattooga County Education Center, transportation and maintenance.
Superintendent Hosmer said, “Please understand that this is a two-week report and includes the dates for the week we were off for Thanksgiving. We are already operating in the HYBRID model, which is four days a week. There is no current need to make any further changes to the schedule.”
