
The Chattooga County School System has released their weekly COVID-19 report.
According to the report that was released on Friday for the week of December 5th – 11th, there are two active, positive cases at Chattooga High School; four cases are being reported at Leroy Massey Elementary School; one case at Summerville Middle School and one case being reported at the County Office.
On Friday, Chattooga County School Superintendent Jared Hosmer announced that the Chattooga County School System would be going to virtual learning for this coming week. Supt. Hosmer said that he made the decision after consulting with Dr. Gary Voccio at the Northwest Department of Public Health.
Students will not be returning to class until after the Christmas Holiday break.
