The Chattooga County School System has seen a dramatic improvement in the number of COVID cases reported this past week.

The previous week the county school system was reporting a total of 102 COVID cases. The number of cases this week was only 42. Every school in the system saw decreases in their numbers.

The Chattooga County School System went to a hybrid schedule where students are attending in-person class on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and have virtual learning days on Mondays and Fridays in an effort to cut down on the number of COVID cases.  That schedule will continue until February 22, 2022.
