One of Chattooga County’s largest employers, Mohawk Industries has donated carpet to the Chattooga County Senior Center.  The carpet in the facility was in dire need of replacing, and Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry was able to get a donation of carpet that will replace the worn carpet at the building.  The Summerville News reported this week that the carpet is commercial grade like you would see in a hotel or restaurant.  Commissioner Elsberry said that he was grateful to Mohawk and local employee Mickey McGraw for the donation to the county’s Senior Center.
