The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office has released incident reports detailing two separate DUI arrests from late 2025, involving calls for service on Mitchell Circle and West Spring Creek Road.
In the first case, deputies responded on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, to a residence on Mitchell Circle after a report of a possible driver under the influence in a driveway. According to the report, a deputy noted a strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech, and difficulty communicating with the driver, identified as Devlin E. Crider, 48. The report states Crider declined to perform field sobriety testing. Deputies took Crider into custody, and the report lists charges including DUI–Alcohol (misdemeanor) and traffic offenses. The report also notes Crider was transported for a blood draw before being taken to the Chattooga County Jail.
In the second case, deputies were dispatched on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2025, to West Spring Creek Road in reference to a suspicious vehicle reported in a driveway. The report states the vehicle left the area and was later stopped. The driver was identified as Dylan Michael Silvers, 22. According to the report, deputies conducted roadside evaluations and documented observations they believed were consistent with impairment. The report lists charges including DUI–Alcohol (misdemeanor), failure to maintain lane, open container, and reckless driving. Silvers was transported to the Chattooga County Jail, according to the report.
