In all 66.6 percent of Chattooga County's registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday's General Election. That's higher than Walker and Catoosa Counties. Walker County's rate was 54.8 percent, while Catoosa County voters turned out at 57.7 percent. Both Chattooga and Walker counties went heavily for Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney. Congressman Tom Graves was also popular in both counties. Chattooga County voted against the Charter School Amendment, while Walker County voters mirrored the state result, voting in favor by 56 percent.
