A Chattooga County woman was charged in the murder of her husband at their Reservoir Road address home in Summerville over the weekend. Dora Jane Treadaway was taken into custody on Saturday evening by Chattooga County Sheriff’s Deputies after a call came into Chattooga 911 at 5:49 PM.
Chief Investigator Larry Kellett with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department told AM 1180 Chattooga County radio that a person visiting the neighbor of the Treadaway’s made the call to 911. Treadaway and her husband Claude Randy Treadaway had been arguing and apparently the arguing is what lead to the call to 911.
Kellett said the cause of death was extensive blunt force trauma to the back and head of Mr. Treadaway. At this time there is no word as to the murder weapon. Kellett said that he charged Treadaway with murder at 5:30 PM Monday afternoon after talking with the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta. The investigation into the murder is continuing and Kellett said the possibility remains for more charges to be filed against Dora Jane Treadaway.

This case is a perfect example of corruption of justice. Dora treadaway is innocent. They should have actually investigated something that day. Dora treadaway has never done a day in jail her whole life until conviction happy incompetant and lazy authorities coupled with people who had something to gain by getting the treadaways out of the picture. I happen to know that that was not his actual cause of death, but for some reason kellet wanted the story told a different way.
