A Cherokee County Alabama man was turned over to Federal Authorities last week having spent several months in the Cherokee County Jail for producing obscene material. Michael Wayne Culpepper was arrested on September 3^rd of last year after an investigation by the Cherokee County, Alabama Sheriff’s Department in the case which involved production and possession of obscene matter. He remained in the Cherokee County Jail until last week when U.S. Marshal’s transported him to Birmingham, where he remains on Federal Obscenity charges. This comes after the case was turned over to the FBI to present the matter to a Federal Grand Jury.
