The Cherokee County (Alabama)  Board of Education met Wednesday evening with a short agenda, with the primary item of interest being approval of the Reduction in Force Plan. Board Members went into Executive Session shortly into the meeting in order to discuss cuts that will have to be made in the school system workforce.  Reports indicate that the board in Cherokee County has not reached a final decision.  The board will meet again on Monday.
