Lookout Mountain District Attorney issued a statement on Monday regarding his appointment to the bench of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit:

It has been an honor serving the citizens of the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit as a prosecutor for the last 31 years. I have been an assistant district attorney, chief assistant and District Attorney; all here in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit. There have been many incredible people that have made a tremendous impact over those years and I could not begin to list all those who have made a difference. I had the opportunity to work with a great group of people at the DA’s office and I will miss working with you every day.

I ask for your support and especially your prayers as I move into a new role of service for our Circuit. I look forward to continue working with our other judges, our local bar, clerks, court services, and all our courthouse personnel. I plan to approach my new position with the same sense of service that I have tried to bring throughout my career.

I wish our incoming District Attorney Clay Fuller the best and hope our community will offer him the support and prayers he will need to face the challenges ahead.
