– Congratulations to senior Will Greer for being selected as the Chattooga High School STAR student. Will chose Mrs. Karen Appelbaum as his STAR teacher.

– The CHS Baseball team will play LFO at home on Thursday, March 6^th. Game time is at 5:30pm. The team is selling t-shirts for $10 and camoflauge hats  for $20.

-Senior wrestler Heath Kirk placed 6^th at state competition last weekend. Kirk went 1 and 2 at the competition. He finished 3^rd in the class AA West sectionals which qualified him for state.

-CHS was recently given the honor of being designated am Advanced Placement challenge school. CHS currently offers 8 AP courses in language arts, calculus, statistics, biology, environmental science, government and politics, us history and world history.

-Free tutoring is being offered on Mondays through April 28^th for students needing to pass End of Course Tests and Graduation Tests. Tutoring sessions last from 9am to 12 noon.

-Future Business Leaders of America students placed last week at region competition. Bode Brooks, Emily Venable, and Kevin Dooley placed 3^rd in Marketing. Kevin Dooley placed in Future Business Leader and Alycha Madrie placed 1^st in computer applications.

-The CHS soccer team will play at home today against Armuchee. The girls play at 5 and the boys play at 7.
