It has been weeks since most congregations in Chattooga County have gathered for worship, but under Governor Brian Kemp’s new guidelines set forth on Monday, churches will have the option of resuming regular Sunday services – if they can abide by social distancing regulations. While allowing in-person services, the governor said, “Of course, online, call-in and drive-in services remain good options for religious institutions.” WZQZ News has heard from several area pastors that are eager to resume services, but some are still cautious. Many churches in our community have been having “online services” for the past several weeks. No matter what your church decides to do this Sunday, WZQZ would like to hear from you. Please email your Sunday service schedule to us at : chattooga1180am@hotmail.com .
If you plan to hold regular services, but have restrictions please include those in the e-mail. Also, if your church plans to continue doing online services – or a combination of online services and actual meetings, please let us know.
We would request that you get all of the information to us by this Thursday evening so that we can announce your church’s plans Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning.
