The City of Summerville will have a called meeting coming up tomorrow evening at Summerville City Hall.  Several items are on the agenda, including a vote on approving a liquor referendum for the city.

Currently, the only place in Chattooga County where it is legal to sell package liquor is in the Town of Lyerly.  If the council approves the measure, the voters of the City of Summerville would decide if they want to allow the sale of packaged liquor inside the city limits.  It is already legal to sell liquor by the drink in restaurants in Summerville.

The council meeting will be held at 5 PM and the public is invited to attend.
