It’s well known that there is a labor shortage right now.  Multiple businesses and industries in Chattooga County are advertising for workers.  That labor shortage is also affecting local municipalities.

The City of Summerville is currently advertising for employees to fill multiple positions.  Some of those positions include:

• A customer service rep / cashier to work at Summerville City Hall
• Street maintenance worker
• Temporary parks / recreation department worker
• Utility line locater
• Building Inspector

Also, Summerville Main Street is looking for a part-time Director Assistant.
