The City of Summerville is seeking bids for mowing and grounds keeping at the Summerville Cemetery.  The city recently took over the upkeep of the cemetery and has planned a cleanup day on November 9th and possibly again on November 11th. (See related story from WZQZ).   The contract for the cemetery mowing and upkeep would be from January 1, 2024 until December 31, 2024.  You can see details on the bid requirements below:

Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Summerville, 120 Georgia Ave., Summerville, Georgia 30747 until 4:45 p.m. on 11/13/2023 for the 2024 Contract for mowing and grounds keeping from January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 at the Summerville Cemetery.
Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with “RFB-2023-103-CEMETERY” clearly marked on the outside of the envelope for easy identification by the City of Summerville.
