Responsibilities include processing weekly and monthly payroll, completing quarterly reports, submitting payroll taxes, preparing and distributing W-2s, maintaining employee leave records, and distributing monthly reports to department heads. Furthermore, the Clerk will be responsible for reconciling credit card payments, preparing probation reconciliation requests, generating daily reports, entering journal entries, providing customer service, preparing invoices, assisting with budget preparation, and acting as backup for Accounts Payable. Maintaining confidentiality and assisting with fraud prevention are also crucial components of the position. The work environment is primarily indoors, in a controlled office setting.
