The City of Summerville will have two called meetings this week, that according to City Manager Russel Thompson.

Thompson told AM 1180 on Monday that the meetings will deal primarily with changes to the city's employee insurance.  The changes require the passing of an ordinance which will require a first reading on Wednesday at 6 PM at City Hall and a second reading on Thursday evening at 6 PM at the same location.

Thompson also said that the city council would be discussing the city's projects for the Special Local Option Sales Tax which will be coming up for a vote later this year.
