The Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department is planning a Labor Day “Gospel Fest” at the Cloudland Community Park coming up September 5, 2021.

The event is a fundraiser for the Cloudland Fire Department which holds the distinction of being a volunteer fire department that operates in both Alabama and Georgia.  The fire department has three stations.  Two of those stations are in Chattooga County, with one at the Cloudland Community Park and the other on Highway 157 about 2 miles below the Walker County line.  The other station is just across the state line in Cherokee County, Alabama.

This year’s event will be held from 10 AM until 2 PM (Eastern Time) at the park.  BBQ plates will be sold for $10 each and there is no admission fee.

The music will be an open-mic gospel music event and sound equipment will be provided.
