Both declared candidates for Chattooga County Commissioner now have official campaign websites.  Challenger Andy Allen launched his campaign website in December of last year.  Incumbent Commissioner Blake Elbserry announced over the weekend that he now has a campaign website as well.

Both websites feature contact and campaign information and brief bios.  Elsberry’s “home page” is dedicated to soliciting donations for his campaign.  Allan says that he is not accepting any campaign donations and plans to finance his campaign himself.

The two are expected to square off in the May 2024 Republican Primary.  Qualifying for local offices will be held in March.  So far, no other candidates – Republican or Democrat – have announced their intentions to run for the post, but they still have time to do so.
