Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry is holding a budget hearing today.  The hearing will be at 10 this morning at the conference room located inside the county commissioner’s office at 10102 Commerce Street in Summerville.  The purpose of the hearing is for the county to review the proposed budget for the upcoming year (2024).  Copies of the proposed budget are available for public inspection at the Chattooga County Courthouse, the Courthouse Annex and the Chattooga County Library.  The budget will be adopted on Friday, December 29th at 10 AM at the commissioner’s office.
