On Thursday, Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry released a bid for three roofs for county buildings.

Earlier this year, the commissioner had submitted claims with the county’s insurance for a new roof on the Chattooga County Courthouse.  The insurance, which is provided by the Association of County Commissioners Georgia (ACCG), approved the claim.

Commissioner Elsberry then submitted claims for three more county buildings in need of roof repair.  They include the Chattooga County Senior Center, Chattooga EMA / 911 Building and a building at Chattooga County Public Works.  All three of those claims have also been approved by the insurance company.

The commissioner said last week that he would seek a bid on all three jobs to be completed by the winning bid.
