The news in Chattooga County has been dominated about the ongoing discussion regarding the future of the Chattooga County Ambulance Service, and if the commissioner will end up out-sourcing the service in the future. 

Commissioner Jason Winters has scheduled a community meeting at 6 PM on December 14th to present proposals from Floyd and Redmond and figures on just what it would take for the county to increase ambulance coverage in Chattooga County.

Commissioner Winters will be the guest on a Newsmakers Interview program coming up on Tuesday on AM 1180.  You can hear the broadcast after the Trading Post at 12:45 PM.  AM 1180 will also broadcast the interview on Wednesday at 8:15 AM and again at 12:45 PM.
