Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters will announce his decision on who will provide ambulance service for Chattooga County tomorrow. AM 1180 has conducted an informal poll on our web site at www.chattoogainfo.com about the issue. The poll question states: What do you think about Chattooga County Ambulance Service?
The un-scientific poll gives three options: The Commissioner should have left the ambulance service alone; the Commissioner should go with Redmond; the Commissioner should go with Floyd.
The total number of poll takers has gone up throughout the nearly 3 week period the poll has been online but the overall percentages have remained relatively unchanged. Around 62% of Chattooga County residents voting in the poll believe the Commissioner should go with either Redmond or Floyd, with Redmond leading by a wide margin, and around 38% say that Commissioner should have left the Ambulance Service alone.
AM 1180 will pass along the Commissioner’s decision when it is made on Tuesday.
