Candidate for United State Congress Wendy Davis will be speaking to local Democrats at a party meeting coming up next week.

Davis, who serves as a Rome City Commissioner, has been active in Democratic politics in Northwest Georgia for many years.  Davis is a life-long Northwest Georgia resident. She is one of several Democrats who have announced that they will try to unseat U.S. Representative Marjorie Greene.

Chattooga County Democratic Party Chair Cynthia Hubler says, “We are proud to host Congressional candidate Wendy Davis at the upcoming meeting of Chattooga County’s Democratic Party on Monday, July 19, at the Senior Center in Summerville. The meeting will begin at 6pm.”
