Coosa Valley Technical College will hold a free workshop about finding a job in a troubled economy Tuesday. The half-day workshop begins at 9 a.m. and features Otis Collier, personal success coach of Collier Management Services in Atlanta.

Also, Jim Powell, CVTC business and industry services director, will speak about becoming work ready. United Community Bank Vice President Fran Preiss will give tips about making the most of your money. Patricia Harris, counselor at Appalachian Housing Counseling Agency, will discuss discovering untapped resources.

The half-day workshop will be at Rome’s Coosa Valley Technical College campus in Auditorium Building A, Room 141.

The workshop will offer ideas, suggestions and ways to better “brand” talents and skills and help workers prepare for the job market.
