Chattooga County law enforcement officials were recently dispatched to Mr. C’s Chevron on Highway 27 in Summerville regard to a report of counterfeit money being taken in.

According to the store clerk, during the money count she discovered a phony twenty dollar bill; the bill was taken into evidence and the matter remains under investigation.
