Thursday is the last day Chattooga County residents that live in Gore, Subligna, Cloudland, Holland or Chattoogaville can sign up for water service at the reduced rate of $65.  Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters told AM 1180 on Tuesday that business has been brisk with county residents signing up at the Commissioner’s office and at the Water District office as well.

Winters said that people have been signing up for the past several weeks and on Monday of this week around 13 people signed up and Tuesday around 15 people took advantage of the reduced rate water sign up.

Residents who wish to sign up should go by the Commissioner’s Office in Summerville or by the Water District Office in Trion before 5 PM on Thursday, March 31, 2011.
