The Chattooga County Senior Center has been dealing with mold and a leaky roof for several years.  It’s not the only county building with issues. 

The Chattooga EMA / 911 Center on Farrar Drive and a building used for storage at Chattooga County Public Works also are in need of new roof.  Commissioner Blake Elsberry is looking for bids to replace all three roofs.

The commissioner had turned in the repair work to the county’s insurance which is provided by the Georgia Association of County Commissioners.  After receiving approval from the insurance company, Elsberry has published a bid request.  (See below.)

The bids are due in the commissioner’s office by this Tuesday.  All three jobs will be included in the bid.
