Chattooga County needs employees.  The county government had three separate help-wanted ads in the local newspaper last Thursday.

Commissioner Blake Elsberry is seeking someone to be the Deputy County Clerk in his office.  According to the ad in the paper, the job would be to assist the current county clerk and perform routine administrative work.  A full job description for the position is available at the commissioner’s office.

Also, the county is still looking for part-time drivers for the county’s transit service.  Applications for the positions can be picked up at the commissioner’s office.

The county is also looking for a water maintenance technician for the Chattooga County Water District.  Interested persons can pick up an application at the Chattooga County Water District Office in Trion or click HERE to print out an application.
