The Chattooga County Commissioner, Kathy V. Brown, reminds all mobile home owners that the 2009 Mobile Home Taxes must be paid by May 1, 2009, to avoid additional interest and penalties. Any mobile home, whether used for storagte, underpinned or not underpinned, tires on or off, tongue on or off, rented out, vacant or homesteaded, requires a yearly permit be purchased to show taxes are paid. If you have not received your mobile home tax notice, please call the Chattooga County Tax Commissioner’s Office at 706-857-0703. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am until 5:00pm.
