Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters has awarded a bid to Tractor and Equipment for the purchase of a new Gradall – a machine used for ditching that will cost the county $223,795.00.
According to Commissioner Winters the county was facing a repair bill of around $40,000 to the old Gradall which is 25 years old. Winters said that the hydraulics system on the old machine was in need of a complete overhaul.
