Summerville Police released a report this week about a domestic incident that happened earlier this month.  According to the report, police were called by a witness who said that a man and woman were fighting on Martin Street.

When police arrived, they spoke with the couple who admitted to arguing, but said that the incident was not physical.  However, a neighbor’s video surveillance camera showed the woman slapping the man in the face and the man kicking the woman in the leg and then wrestling her to the ground.

Officers arrested thirty-six-year-old Buddy Allan Rooker and fifty-nine-year-old Sandra Charlene Patten and charged them both with battery under the Family Violence Act.
