A couple were found sleeping inside a storage rental unit on Favor Street in Summerville on Wednesday morning.

Police say that fifty-two-year-old Jason Hubbard and forty-seven-year-old Jessica Garfield were asleep inside the metal storage unit when an officer stopped at the rental facility due to the ongoing burglaries of storage units in Summerville.

Hubbard told the officer that the storage unit was rented by his mother.

Inside the storage unit, police found hypodermic needles and methamphetamine. Also, multiple checkbooks that did not belong to either Hubbard or Garfield were found inside the storage unit.

The two were arrested and charged on drug possession charges.  Hubbard was also charged with giving false information to officers and the two were charged with theft of services for living inside the storage unit.
