COVID-19 cases have increased slightly in the area over the past two weeks. 

Chattooga County has added two new deaths to the COVID-19 total and the number now stands at 67.  Walker County is up by one for a total of 82 fatalities from the Coronavirus.

Chattooga County has seen an improvement in the overall numbers of people being vaccinated for COVID-19.  Over the past week the total went from 23% of the population to 24%, accounting for over 250 additional people being fully vaccinated.
