Georgia state health officials reported over the weekend that there have been 61 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 15,067.
There were 2,208 new cases, as that total reached 816,973 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 55,963, 185 more than Friday.

Chattooga County has now officially registered 2,091 cases of COVID-19 and has seen 59 deaths and 160 hospitalizations.  That’s up from 58 deaths that were being reported earlier last week.
