Black Friday is the term used for retail sales the day after Thanksgiving and Small Business Saturday was this past weekend, an effort to boost sales at small, independent retailers.  Today is known as "Cyber Monday."  The day is known for online sales as shoppers prepare for the Christmas Season.

According to the Shop.org/BizRate Research eHoliday Mood Study, "77 percent of online retailers said that their sales increased substantially on the Monday after Thanksgiving, a trend that is driving serious online discounts and promotions on Cyber Monday
