Deer hunters in Chattooga County are joining forces this hunting season to help families in need by donating venison through the Hunters Ending Hunger initiative. In collaboration with Weesner’s Wild Game Processing, they have donated 65 pounds of venison so far, providing essential protein to struggling families. The initiative not only addresses food insecurity but also promotes a sense of community as hunters support their neighbors. This program allows hunters to give back and ensure that their harvest benefits those facing food challenges.
