Longtime Fort Payne funeral home owner and director R.J. Burt Jr. died Monday night at a Birmingham hospital. He was 70.  Burt also owned and operated the funeral home in Valley Head. Burt was elected to four terms as coroner in DeKalb County  from 1964-80.
