A man and his girlfriend came to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office recently with a harassment complaint.  According to the couple, the man’s former wife had been sending threatening messages to the couple via social media.  The couple said that in addition to the Facebook and Instagram messages, the ex-wife had started to text the threats to the couple’s cell phones.  The deputy advised the man that he would need to contact officials in Walker County where he lives and filed a report for the man’s girlfriend.  The deputy also advised the couple to get a Temporary Protective Order.
