Last Friday, deputies were called multiple times to a Trion residence regarding domestic situations.  According to a report from the sheriff’s office, deputies spoke with a woman at the residence who said that she and her husband had been quarreling.

At one point, the man allegedly was yelling at the woman, threatening to kill her and threatening to “tear up the house”.  The husband had fled into the woods before deputies arrived.  Later, deputies were called back to the same residence.  The woman at the residence had been drinking heavily, according to the report.  At that point, deputies made the decision to call DFCS due to the fact that a four-year-old child that lives at the residence had been witnessing the confrontations.

According to the report, the child was the grandson of the woman and man who had been arguing and lives in the home with his mother.  The mother had taken the child from the residence by the time deputies returned the last time, but deputies said that they would file a  referral with DFCS due to the multiple domestic incidents at the residence.
