A Trion man was charged with disorderly conduct Tuesday after an incident involving his son.

 

According to the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department, 17-year-old Heath Kirk told officers he and his father, 50-year-old Charles Kirk continued an altercation that began the day before. It concerned a guitar the senior Kirk accused the son of taking. Charles Kirk reportedly pushed his son and used profane language. 

 

Deputies determined that Charles Kirk was the primary aggressor in trying to provoke a physical altercation. He was charged with disorderly conduct and taken to the Chattooga County Jail without incident.
