The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about dogs killing chickens on Back Penn Road.  According to a report released late last week by the sheriff’s office, the complainant told responding deputies that two dogs had killed seven of her chickens.  The deputies reported seeing the carcasses of the dead poultry strewn across the complainant’s yard.  The complainant was able to get the dogs corralled inside her pool fence and told the deputies that the dogs were not aggressive towards people.  The dogs were left inside the pool fence for Chattooga County Animal Control to come and pick up.  The complainant said that she was not familiar with the dogs and had never seen them before the incident.
