A Summerville woman was arrested on simple battery charges after a domestic dispute January 19.

 

According to the report, deputies were dispatched to Oakhill Alpine Road just before 5 p.m. where they met with several complainants. Also there were two boys, ages 15 and 19 months,  at the home.

 

According to the report, the boys were home with their mother, Kimberly Perry, when the Perry allegedly  began drinking at about 10 a.m. She reportedly began cursing the infant, telling the infant to shut up and go to sleep with profanities included in that statement. The older boy said he picked up his baby brother and took him into another room for about an hour until his grandmother showed up. Perry's daughter arrived  at about this time, after a  phone call from the grandmother to telling her to remove the boys from the residence due to their mother's behavior. According to the report, when Perry's daughter arrived to pick up the boys, Kimberly Perry reportedly grabbed the 18-month old,  then the older boy grabbed the baby from his mother an headed to his sister's vehicle. That is when Kimberly Perry reportedly attacked her daughter, hitting her on the face and grabbing her by the neck and arms, leaving scratches on her neck. Kimberly reportedly had her daughter by the shirt when the daughter broke loose and headed for the door. However she was reportedly grabbed by Perry again who began hitting her. The daughter reportedly slammed her mother to the ground, slipped out of her shirt and ran out the door. According to the report there were witnesses to the incident. Kimberly Perry was arrested and charged with Simple Battery/FVA.
