To date over 300 pounds of pet-food has been collected and donated to the Chattooga County Animal Shelter by they Menlo PTO and students.  The idea for the pet-food drive came about as a tribute to the "school dog" Marshmallow that passed away last year.  Organizers say that it is not to late to donate.  The food can be dropped off any-time at Menlo School at the front office.  The Menlo PTO wants to raise awareness and a lot of food for the animals at the Chattooga County Animal Shelter.
